My
Story
I’m a Manchester-based artist specialising in large-scale collage portraiture, known for bold compositions that merge contemporary design with meticulous craftsmanship.
Alongside collage, I create acrylic paintings and lead creative projects across multiple mediums.
I have produced bespoke commissioned work for Co-op Live Arena, including portraits gifted to artists such as Boy George, Bruce Springsteen, and Cyndi Lauper.
I’ve also facilitated community art projects for institutions including Manchester City Football Club and the National Football Museum, creating accessible, engaging experiences for participants of all ages.
Creative Process
I start with close observation, capturing the personality, expression, and defining features of each subject.
For collage portraits, I translate these into layered compositions built from hundreds of hand-cut cards, carefully selecting every colour, shape, and texture.
In watercolour/acrylic paintings, I explore tonal layering and multi-shaded effects to create depth and presence.
From concept to completion, my process ensures artwork that is both technically precise and alive with the essence of the subject.
